Sten Bumlingen is a company that sells precious stones, crystals, fossils and jewelry online and in its physical store in Mariefred. I found Sten Bumlingen by chance via Googling on 'Herkimer Diamond' which I wanted to know a little more about. From there we called a meeting and now we have landed in a business film.

In the film, the owner Thomas talks about the company's involvement in Ethiopia, the process of grinding precious stones, fairs, the range, etc. There was an incredible amount of good interview material, so my challenge was to cut the film down to a short format (about 5 min) and include as much as possible.

I enjoy the storytelling in the film and like how everything fell into place in the end. We filmed in the store in Mariefred and at a fair outside Malmköping, arranged by Sten Bumlingen.

Besides it being a magical film, I have learned a lot about crystals and precious stones, got to know a lot of new stones/energies and have expanded my view of what service can be.
