Capturing Your Story With Heart

My name is Linus, and one of my passions is helping wedding couples preserve their memories. My aim is to tell your wedding story in a way that feels authentic and real as it was.

I did my very first wedding video back in 2016, at Marmorbruket. The location were absolutely stunning and the video turned out pretty good! From that moment I knew this was more than just a job. Since then, I’ve had the honor of capturing weddings in different places all over Sweden, and every time it feels special and meaningful.

In my mind I create art together with my couples. It’s the joy, the emotions, and the moments in between that make a wedding video so special. My role is to be present and curious as the event is unfolding, capturing details, moments and bringing an overall good vibe to the event.

Some couples ask me to take photos as well, and while I love photography I believe film has a unique power. It doesn’t just show how your wedding looked – it lets you hear the voices, feel the music and remember the experience.

2. What’s your approach to filming weddings?

My target is to capture your wedding day in the most authentic and creative way possible. I focus on telling your unique love story with heartfelt moments through-out the day. I’ll be joining you to capture the joy, laughter and connections between you and your loved ones. My approach is to create a film that feels personal, genuine and inspiring.

3. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely! I love destination weddings and am always excited to travel to new and beautiful locations. Whether your wedding is on a scenic beach, in a rustic countryside, or in the heart of a city, I am prepared to follow you wherever your love takes you. Each destination adds its own magic to your wedding film.

4. How do you handle travel logistics for destination weddings?

Once you share your wedding details, I’ll handle travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transportation. I aim to make this process as seamless as possible so you can focus on enjoying your special day. A mileage allowance of 35 SEK/10km is added to the total fee. I am based in Nyköping. If the wedding is more than one hour from Nyköping, an accommodation costs might be added.

5. How long does it take to receive the wedding video?

You will receive your video after 3-5 weeks depending on your choosen wedding package. If you really want it faster you can pay extra for express delivery.

6. Can we choose our own music for the video?

I encourage couples to share their musical preferences! I want the film to feel like you, so your input is always welcome. However, I also consider the flow and mood of your wedding footage to ensure the soundtrack enhances the emotions of the day. I have a music library with royalty free music to choose from.

7. How do we book you for our wedding?

The booking process is simple! Once you’ve decided you’d like me to be part of your special day, just reach out via my contact page. From there, we’ll set up a time to discuss the details and secure your date. I recommend reaching out as soon as possible to ensure availability.

8. Will you work with our photographer?

Of course! I have experience collaborating with other photographers to ensure that we both get what we need to deliver the best photos and videos without interrupting each others work too much. We’ll stay out of each other's way while capturing the best angles and moments of your day.

9. How many hours of coverage do you offer?

My packages are flexible to suit your wedding day needs. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a full-day celebration, I offer different levels of coverage to ensure I capture every important moment. 3-4 hours, half day or full day (10-12h) coverage is usual.

10. What makes your wedding video unique?

Each love story is one of a kind and so is each film I create. My target is to craft a film that doesn’t just document the day but also captures the essence of your relationship, the emotions shared and the special moments during your day. I bring my passion, expertise and years of experience into every wedding video I do. It's very important for me to create something that I am proud of as well.

You can book me as your wedding videographer or photographer for your lovely wedding day. Available in Sweden and for destination travel all over the globe. My intention is to realize your vision as closely as possible in my unique way. I am currently located in Nyköping, Sweden.

I offer premium wedding videos that I call highlight videos which is 3-10 minutes long wedding videos that features key moments of the day. Investing in a wedding package is the perfect gift for yourself and for your loved ones.

What I really enjoy about creating wedding videos is that the structure of the production may be similar but on the other hand, the content will always differ tremendously because people are unique! I will never be tired of creating beautiful wedding videos. For me, it is a privilege to be asked to film a wedding.

A cool thing about wedding videos is that it can be shot in a wide range of ways depending on your preference. But I would say the most common way to go about it is to focus on the events of the day and then craft the story in a chronological order in post-production. The big difference is how you choose to tell the story. The pace, the colors and the music can with advantage be discussed in the pre-meeting so I know what you are looking for.

Setting up one or two pre-meeting is important for my preparations. This is also a good opportunity for us to get to know each other better before the big day.

My Style and Process

I would describe my style as documentary with a cinematic style. I prefer to document the day’s events from a guest's perspective and be subtle in my movements. My goal with your wedding video is to capture the essence of the event and bring about feelings that take you back when you watch the video again.

I often use a gimbal in my wedding videos to achieve smooth shots where the camera seems to float. I believe this adds extra harmony and elegance – elevating the video to new heights. However, a handheld camera can enhance the energy in the room, especially during the party. So a mixture of camera techniques really makes the final result dynamic and exciting to watch. In all my video productions, authenticity is important. I will not force you to do anything that feels unnatural or uncomfortable, it is really important.

My recommendation would be to set aside time for shooting around sunset to capture the dreamy light that comes when the sun is setting. It depends on the weather, but if we get it right, it’s well worth taking a break from the festivities. During the photography portrait session, I’m happy to be there, capturing behind the scenes footage that later can be woven into the rest of the day's events.

Key moments that are great to include in the wedding video are the couple’s preparations, first look, guests arriving, the ceremony, mingling, fun activities, speeches, the cake-cutting, first dance and maybe some party footage as well.

When the wedding is over, my editing process begins right away. I go through all the raw footage and create a rough structure for the video in a first draft. The video will then go through a phase of refinement, where I will synchronize the music and start the color-grading process so the wedding video will look cohesive.
