Event Films

Linus offers film production services for various types of corporate events across Sweden and worldwide. An event film is exactly what it sounds like — a documentation of an event or happening, which can then be used for multiple purposes, such as organic social media posts, marketing, internal communication, or showcasing your company for prospects.

What’s great about filming events is that I, as the videographer, I also get to experience the event. In many cases the organizer wants to show as much of the event as possible in the film, highlighting the most spectacular and high-budget elements. Event filming can sometimes be an intense production, where filming and post-production are done in quick succession to ensure the video is released the day after or shortly thereafter to maximize the event’s impact. Music festivals or sports event content are examples of events where the video should ideally be posted on social media as soon as possible after the event is over.

Editing the Main Film
The beauty of event videos is that the footage can be edited into several versions for different purposes. For example, the material can be packaged into short message videos tailored for social media, which can be used over time. A cost-effective option is to create a promotional video for next year's event using the footage already captured. The possibilities are endless if you're willing to look ahead and plan.

  • Main FIlm

The event film will be a recap of the event, accompanied by music and possibly interviews.

  • Cutdowns

Short versions of the main event video. Short specific message-videos are great for social media.

  • Vibe?

Is the priority to convey accurate information or bring about a good overall vibe of the event?
