The quality and color range you get in a new iPhone is really outstanding on so many levels. The mobile phone has many advantages that make it a great complement to a DSLR. I use my phone for content that requires a fast turnaround and needs to be published immediately on social channels.

Why hire a photographer when you can do it yourself? Time, energy and dedication to the craft is the biggest reasons. Expertise in lighting, composition, image editing, format adaptation etc. Of course, you can learn all of this if you have the interest, time and money to invest in the required equipment.

Inspiration
Photography is about portraying the world as you see it. We all have unique perspectives and this is reflected in our photos. How I approach portrait photography varies greatly depending on what inspires me in the moment. The interaction with the person in front of the camera also plays a key role in how I choose to compose the image.

What conditions do we have at the time of the shoot? Do we have access to natural light, or do we need supplement with flashes? What feeling do we want to convey with the image? There are many ways to approach this and that’s what makes photography so appealing.

I really like to go with the flow and trust my intuitive ability when taking photos. It usually brings out the best in people.
