YouTube and being active on social channels really comes in waves for me. It has to feel fun and inspiring when I create, and when the creative spark is missing, it's better to focus on other things.
Yesterday, I felt inspired to do something involving skateboarding. I also wanted to test slow motion with my new macro lens. Additionally, I brought an extra camera to record behind-the-scenes footage, which is new for me. I've underestimated how difficult it is to vlog while creating. It can easily split your focus.
YouTube, which should be the "natural" platform for a video creator, has often been something I’ve resisted. But who knows, maybe it’s time to change that?
