My spontaneous road trip to Serbia together with my newfound friend Emil was an unforgettable experience. During four intense days we drove through Denmark, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia and finally Serbia. In total, it was a full 1000 km trip with fantastic environments, unexpected meetings and insights that we picked up along the way. Instead of driving straight through Berlin, Prague and Budapest, we chose to follow the coastal strip, which gave us even more beautiful views to enjoy.
This was my first long-distance journey by car and it was a real eye-opener for me. On Thursday I flew back to Nyköping to pet-sit a dog, otherwise I would probably have stayed a few more days. During the trip I filmed a lot of the amazing landscapes we passed through, even though I was missing my drone. The film from the trip became a nice by-product rather than the main purpose of the trip.
Travel inspires me enormously and I see endless possibilities when I get to experience new places. The next trip booked is to Copenhagen and Denmark. I'm really looking forward to it and have had a strong pull to Copenhagen for the last six months. It will be incredibly fun to finally get to explore the city!
