Nomad in Bali

Right now, I'm in beautiful Bali and will be here until the days between Christmas and New Year. This is my first time in Bali, and I already feel at home. There’s a vibe here that’s hard to put into words and needs to be experienced. The beaches in Canggu are said to be a paradise for surfers, and I can see why. Tomorrow, I’ll test how well I can handle a surfboard.

Canggu is a lovely little town on Bali’s west coast with lots of great restaurants and cafés offering incredibly delicious food and drinks. Healthy food and drinks are the norm here, so eating well comes naturally. Next week, we’ll be islanders on one of the Gili Islands, staying in bungalows, and the week after, we’ll return to the mainland to Ubud.

Bali is a dream paradise, and the infrastructure for working as a digital nomad is well-established here. There are plenty of co-working cafés and bars offering free Wi-Fi, as well as dedicated office spaces for longer stays. It’s inspiring to see and be part of.
