Today, I tried graffiti for the first time. It was a fun experience, and I can definitely see myself doing it again. I went freehand without a sketch or clear idea... the only thing I knew was that the word "Loco" would be my tag. Why? I have no idea.
It took a few hours to complete, from sketching, coloring, background work, and adding highlights/other elements. At first, I was very careful and precise until I felt the pressure lift and just let the paint flow. I'm impressed by how Raphe and Pepsi managed to get such clean and even lines on their tags. My tag turned out rougher and more unpolished, which reflected how I felt during the painting. I understand that it takes a lot of time and practice to create a clean piece.
