Sten Bumlingen is a company that sells gemstones, crystals, fossils, and jewelry online and in their physical store in Mariefred. I stumbled upon Sten Bumlingen by chance through a Google search for ‘Herkimer Diamond,’ which I wanted to learn more about. From there, we set up a meeting and have now produced a business film.
In the film, the owner, Thomas, talks about the company’s involvement in Ethiopia, the gemstone-cutting process, trade fairs, their product range, and more. There was so much good interview material, so my challenge was to cut the film down to a short format (about 5 minutes) while keeping as much as possible.
I like the storytelling in the film and how everything came together in the end. We filmed in the store in Mariefred and at a trade fair outside Malmköping, organized by Sten Bumlingen.
Besides creating a fantastic film, I learned a lot about crystals and gemstones, got familiar with a range of new stones/energies, and expanded my view of what service can be.
